now we are presented with two sorts of map; there is the static map,
something you decode for a one to one correspondence with something else;
but the internet highlights a different method of mapping; dynamic mapping,
or maps as routing instructions. For example, I have a small forum at
plexus.org which has a modest amount of traffic. However, the plexus site
has an impressive hit rate of several thousand per day, if the statistics
are correct. But, I make reference to suck.com, mainly because I think they
express ideas so similar to my own that it is easier to have them think
those ideas for me than to have me think them. So, a number of the visits
get routed to the Suck site. But, on my site I advised also that visitors
should read the archive to this discussion and visit the documenta web site
in general. Due to the peculiarities of Plexus, a huge number of the visits
they get are from Korea and Japan, instead of the Unitedd States and
Europe... so a Korean visitor may find him or herself looping through
Plexus, find himself reading this, and then get deflected over to Suck,
which can then reroute the mindpath to thousands of different places.
These routing instructions are always in flux, and you never know where
you'll end up, or in what reality frame. In turn, you'll have no way of
being able to see backward down the routing paths, into how all these
idea-experiences will come together in the minds of people at the source.
It's a very thermodynamic model, the air itself heats up, but you can't
follow the paths of individual molecules and atoms....
