Yan'an Elevated Road @ People's Square

In Vibeke Jensen's video installation night_watch a watchful eye gazes down at passers-by from various central location in Shanghai. Due to difficulties obtaining official permits to show the piece publicly we opted for a mobile solution in Shanghai. We managed to project night_watch in 7 prime public spaces from Pudong to People's Square. The piece is a dialog on the concept of monocular vision's referential linkings - safety, conspiracy and the mechanics of control.
