I want to work with ideas concerning ambient communication.



That is, I want to work not simply with images that function ambiently in conjunction with ambient sound, but to investigate and uncover structures which would allow ambiance to fuction as a communicative force.



Particularly, I want to work with the landscape, as it is a fundamental part of human experience and is often the backdrop for many human activities.



I want my work to set up a relationship between the active persistance of the ambient visual material as it loops, repeats, vanishes and reemerges, and the landscape, taken as a form of endless duration and variation.
