Part of my interest in **emerAgency** is to use the technology as a
prosthesis for noticing these large-scale events. Perhaps we are
including temporality in the scale. The new consultancy address the
intractability of problems at the level of fetish logic. the basic
proposition of which is--"I know, but all the same..." I know that
smoking will kill me, but all the same I love to do it. In fact this
ability to act on beliefs that contradict our knowledge is more complex
than that basic formula. As Foucault formulated the proposition:
--we know what we are doing
we know why we do what we do
but we do not know what what we do does.
