On Wednesday, December 9, at 10:30, the State Liquor Authority will be holding a hearing on Café Habana's application for a wine and beer license.
L I N A 's position on the application is that the owners of Café Habana have not rectified the problems of their other local establishments and have, with the opening of Café Habana, created more problems.
L I N A members have been sending letters to the SLA documenting the community's opposition to this license, and the problems caused by the owners' other local establishments.
L I N A WOULD LIKE THE SLA TO DENY THEM A WINE AND BEER LICENSE AT THIS TIME.
