An important new sculpture entitled Semblantes by Gunther Gerzso will soon be released by Hine Editions, San Francisco. Cast in an edition of six, with one artist's proof, the bronze will be patinated in a dark gray-green shade. This will be the final work in the sculptural suite which the artist created during his visits to California while producing etchings for Limestone Press (1988- 94). These seven sculptures will be exhibited together for the first time in New York this fall, when mam/fa honors the artist with a retrospective exhibition.
