HALLOWEEN 1950

I'm Minnie Mouse, Mom.
Don't you recognize me?

I'm standing up in this chair
without any shoes on
and I'm going to fall.

I'm confused,
I thought by now
you'd run and save me.
Even mice get scared.

Are you so busy
with that Variety Store
you've sewn on your dress
you no longer have time for me?
Remember, you promised people
only change on the outside.
