I think that I would also like to add that if such pedantic and
pseudo-political art wants to fulfill any type mission even in the
conceptual realm, then perhaps the creators need to find other
professions. It has become clear that to follow any Marxist or even
post-Marxist notion of emancipation in art is futile and that the
artists are better off working for community centres and aid groups in
order to have any real impact on the political and cultural fabric of
society.  Artists are better at other things.
