We present here two sizes of this animated piece. Initially, Waber and
Pimble did several sizes to accommodate different screen densities. We
present two of them to accommodate both loose and dense screen settings. We'd
like to think, however, that the two sizes can be appreciated in
different ways. If you have a loose screen setting (with very large
icons and other images on your screen), you can use the 600 x 600
version to see the whole piece function as an integrated unit. If you
then watch the 1800 x 1800 version, parts of it will be randomly selected
for you, somewhat in the manner of chance generated poems and the altered
books which have passages painted out and passages left in, as well as
other experimental poetry of the last 50 years that has depended on
fragmentation. This version also gives you the chance to see components
interact in more detail.
If your screen is set at 1800, you might want to
temporarily step it down so you can see it in this manner too.
